The translation of 3 800 English entries into the indigenous languages of South Africa have been performed by leading language practitioners, ensuring quality and reliability. With English as the cornerstone of this interactive language matrix, the dictionary provides an explanation for each entry, to ensure correct comprehension of the context of each entry. While the SAMD does not claim to be comprehensive, it does strive to cover the basic vocabulary and phrases generally used in everyday life.
